Mission Statement
St. Peter Central Catholic (SPCC) offers a comprehensive and nurturing learning environment for students in Preschool to Grade 8. Our school fosters the development of the whole child: intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, physical, and artistic. At SPCC, we recognize and celebrate every student as a unique child of God. All students are given the opportunity to explore their interests and discover their gifts.
A spirit of welcome is a defining characteristic of the Saint Peter Central Catholic community. Our school is enriched by the many culturally and linguistically diverse students and families who find a home here. SPCC families hail from places all over the globe, including Ghana, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, China, Perú, Colombia, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and more. We joyfully embrace students from many and varied backgrounds within our faith and learning community. Students at SPCC currently come from 22 towns and cities and are members of 45 different parishes and non-Catholic churches.
As educators, we strive to embody Jesus’ message of love and compassion in all that we do. Our goal is to support students in developing a moral compass to guide them throughout life. St. Peter’s students graduate with a strong academic foundation, the confidence that comes from knowing they have been loved and valued members of a community, and the desire to use their gifts to make the world a better place.
