Last year. we began our STEM journey with WPI. Rather than just STEM, our approach is STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). Last school year (2017-2018) was year zero. We created a “Problem of the Month”. Every month, our students had a problem of the month to work on. This school year (2018-2019) is year one. We will continue to work on a problem of the month this yearn as well as other areas. Problem of the Month will be posted and then, after they are completed, they will be reported on. Follow us on our STREAM journey.
To develop a 21st century learning environment that fosters innovative problem-solving, creative collaboration, and critical thinking, and inspires students – guided by Christ’s example – to positively impact an ever-evolving global world.
An interdisciplinary approach to learning, grounded in Christian values, in which rigorous academic concepts are combined with real-world lessons and service learning as students apply Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Mathematics in contexts that make connections between school, faith, community, work, and the global enterprise, enabling the development of 21st century STREAM (Science, Religion, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) knowledge and skills along with the ability to achieve success and positively impact God’s world.
